ABOUT CELTICELFIN

Welcome! 

I am Jean T. Karpowich, artisan of CelticElfin at my home studio here in beautiful Sussex County, NJ.  I design and create original Celtic-themed artwork and jewelry, putting special emphasis on originality, quality craftsmanship and uniqueness.

I have been creating artwork and jewelry for many years after being inspired at a Celtic/Highland Games festival back in 2007 while visiting with a dear friend in the Monterey Bay area.

My desire to design and create Celtic-themed items stems maily from my deep-rooted Scottish/Irish heritage - something I am immensely proud of even though I have not yet been to Scotland or Ireland.

I am married to a wonderful man of Ukrainian/German heritage and two grown sons.  My maiden name is Carrigy and I am also descended from a long line of Mac/McFarlane's traced back to 1640 Scotland!

In my spare (?) time I also write, knit and read.
